MAASANI AMMAN TEMPLE-POLLACHI

i will visit this amman temple once in a year. this amman temple is very famous around coimbatore and pollachi.this temple is situated admist coconut trees,hills and a river valley nearby.. so beautiful place and nature lovers love this place. the nearest railway or airport is in coimbatore.if you are travelling by air u have to get a taxi and reach the temple.the temple is situated 16 kms from pollachi. the temple is situated exactly in AANAMALAI region. if you are travelling by train you can get info the town bus which from coimbatore bus stop i.e ukkadam bus stop. catch pollachi bus.it takes about 1 hr from coimbatore to pollachi. after reaching pollachi get into the town bus.there are many bus from pollachi bus terminal to this amman temple. for every 2 min there is bus frequency.people can visit this te3mple can take bath in river valley nearby and there are number of rooms available for staying.this amman is in sleeping position with eyes opened.the other attractions nearby this temple are topslip,coimbatore dhyanalingam temple,siruvani river,aazhiyar dam etc.post your comments after you visit this temple.:)

GETTING A TATKAL PASSPORT

i hope this post will help those who need to apply for tatkal passport.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED:(any 3 documents)
1.DRIVING LICENSE ,
2.ELECTION COMISSION ID CARD,
3.RATION CARD,
4.BIRTH CERTIFICATE,
5.PAN CARD,
6.OFFICE OR COLLEGE ID,
7.BANK STATEMENT WITH LETTER FROM BANK,DRIVING LICENSE..(ONLI 3 PROOF NEEDED) BUT BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS NECESSARY FOR ALL.

NOTE: GET A DD FOR 2500 FOR TATKAL IN FAVOUR OF REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICER CHENNAI. THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT CASH..ONLI FOR MINOR APPLICANTS FOR THE EXTENSION OF PASSPORT THEY ACCEPT IN CASH.SO TAKE DD ALONG WITH YOU.

First of all you need to apply online passport.gov.in with correct details. after submitting the form take a printout. you can notice the date of your presence in the respective passport offices in the right hand side of your application printout form. take the applications with you and attach an affidavit from lawyers and for applicants who have born after 26.1.1989 it is must to get online birthcertificate who have born in chennai..you can check with www.chennaicorporation.gov.in . other applicants who have born in any state in tamilnadu pls check with the respective corporation offices. you have to present there in passport office with all necessary documents such as your birth certificate,ration card,pan card,driving license,bank passbook up to date updation of all the trasactions and covering letter from bank. 3 documents are enough for tatkal but for your safety carry any 4 documents.take 2 sets of xerox copy of all the original documents. there are few people who help to arrange all your documents in the ground floor of sasthri bhavan..they charge onli few amount. after arranging the documents u have to go to 1 st floor,where you have to get the token and go to the second floor for verification. pls go atleast 5 tokens before you as they will call immediately. give the application with original documents.
after verification they will give you all originals. they will place your application in a file and you have to stand in the payment counter.ensure that you have a DD for 2500 in favour of regional passport officer chennai(note:your name and application number,cell number must be written at the back of the dd) after the acceptance of dd they will give you a receipt which you can have to know the status of your application.. all the best
